Productinformation
The pelham jawpiece combines the action of a snaffle and a bar and snaffle. The bit has one jaw piece but can be ridden with one or two reins. If you choose to ride with one rein, a pelham strap is needed to connect the bit rings with the rings of the scissors. The pelham is a leveraged mouthpiece. The longer the scissors, the sharper the effect.
The double-jointed bit has two hinge points, is shaped more towards the mouth and lies a bit looser in the mouth. This bit acts on the tongue, the layers and the corners of the mouth.
Sweet iron develops through contact with (air) moisture and surface rust that tastes sweet and stimulates saliva production in a natural way.
